So I know the Wii has built in Wifi. I heard on the Wiiware channel or whatever it's called, there's old snes games like Super Mario 3 and Super Mario World. Is this true and how much do they usually costs? Also, do they have wide screen support, or are they boxed in?

I know the Wii isn't HD, but some games I've seen look pretty nice, like Super Mario Galaxy and New Super Mario Bro's. How good does a wii look on an LCD TV? Because some of my PS2 games look like garbage on an LCD.

And how many licks does it take to -- Tongue

personally i think the wii looks pretty damn good... of course you can see it isn't hidef, but it is still really good. I play mine on a 40 inch samsung lcd.

Yup the wii shop does have those old school games to download.  Typically they cost from like 500 to 800 points depending on which old school ones.  Mind you $20 = 2000 points

I was thinking about doing that. But I heard Nintendo disables/blocks some stuff if you mod your wii. Any truth to this?

No truth at all, the newest exploit is near impossible to patch so hacking the console proves to be a definate thing no matter what firmware they put out.  Google "smash stack exploit"

Well I got my Wii and I have to say it's pretty damn cool. The girlfriend and I are having a blast with New Super Mario Bro's. I also picked up Super Mario Galaxy for myself. These games look better than I expected, not hi-def, but still really pretty and smooth.

How you use the wii remotes in the games is really fun too. I think I'll softmod it since I recently picked up a 4GB DS card. Of course only for the retro games. I'm still gonna buy my wii games.

The channels are a nice touch too. I enjoy the Nintendo and weather channel lol.
If anyone want's to add me, feel free. My wii code is in my sig below.
